Privacy Notice

This notice explains how the Vetvo public website at vetvo.com and its waitlist handle information. It covers this website and waitlist only. The Vetvo mobile application is still in development; we will publish a separate privacy policy for the app before it launches, and this notice is not that app policy.

Who we are

Vetvo LLC is the operator of this website and waitlist. Vetvo is an independent U.S. company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, or any other federal agency. We are building a community platform for U.S. veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, and adult military family members. Information you provide

The waitlist form asks for one required field and a few optional fields:

• Email address (required)
• First name (optional)
• Your connection to the military community (optional)
• Your primary interest in Vetvo (optional)

Military connection and primary interest are optional contextual information that help us understand and organize interest in Vetvo. You are never required to provide them, and each includes a Prefer not to say choice. The form does not ask for your state, city, metro area, or postal address, and it has no consent checkbox.

Information processed automatically

To serve the site and protect it from abuse, our hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address and network information, browser or device information, request metadata, security and challenge signals, and the result of the security verification described below. This information is used to deliver the website and keep it secure; Vetvo does not use it to build behavioral profiles of you.

How the waitlist confirmation works

When the waitlist is active and you submit the waitlist form, we ask our email provider to send a confirmation message to the address you entered. Submitting the form does not by itself guarantee a subscription or any access — you may need to select the confirmation link in that message, and confirming completes the waitlist subscription. If you did not request the signup, you can simply ignore the confirmation message. Because delivery depends on the email provider and the details you enter, we cannot promise that every submission results in an email.

• Send launch, early-access, testing, or related Vetvo updates you asked for
• Organize outreach using your optional interests
• Prevent abuse and protect the service
• Maintain consent, unsubscribe, or suppression records
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce applicable terms

Service providers

We use a small number of providers that process information on Vetvo's behalf for the services described here:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery, network security, and related request processing.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — abuse-prevention and security verification when the waitlist is active.
• Mailchimp — our email communications provider. When you join the waitlist, we send the information you provide to Mailchimp so it can send the confirmation email, record whether you confirm, maintain your subscription and unsubscribe status, and deliver approved Vetvo waitlist communications. The information we send is your email address, and — only if you provide them — your first name, your connection to the military community, and your primary interest, together with a consent-version marker and a signup-source marker that note which consent text applied and that the request came from the Vetvo waitlist.

Each provider's own processing is also governed by its own policies.

Analytics, cookies, and tracking

Vetvo has no active website analytics. We do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and our website code does not use Local Storage, Session Storage, or IndexedDB for the waitlist. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies (for example, when protecting the site from automated traffic) as part of serving and protecting the site. If we later enable privacy-focused, cookieless analytics, we will update this notice at that time.

What we do not do with your information

Vetvo does not sell waitlist personal information, and Vetvo does not use waitlist personal information for targeted advertising.

Information we do not request

The waitlist does not ask for, and you should not enter, any of the following:

• Social Security numbers
• DoD identification numbers
• VA claim information
• Medical records
• Military service records
• Financial account information
• Identity documents

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the waitlist form. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, guarantee access, or verify military status.

Retention

Vetvo retains waitlist information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice. We may retain limited records needed to honor unsubscribe or deletion choices, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Unsubscribe, deletion, and privacy requests

You can unsubscribe from marketing or launch emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. For a privacy or deletion request, email hello@vetvo.com. We may need to verify a request before acting on it, and the rights available to you may depend on your location and applicable law. In some cases we may keep a limited suppression record or a record required by law even after a deletion request, so that we can honor your choice and meet our obligations.

Security

Vetvo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the current service. No website or online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and we do not claim that it is.

Who this is for

The waitlist is intended for adults 18 and older, and the service is focused on the United States military and veteran community. Submitting the waitlist form does not verify your military status. This website is not intended to collect information from children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as Vetvo develops. When we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
